On Sunday, January 7th, 2024, Orthodox Christians of Antalya celebrated Nativity of the Lord according to the Julian calendar. In the morning, the Divine Liturgy according to the rite of St. Basil the Great was celebrated by Metropolitan Job of Pisidia. The rector of the church of st. Alypius the Stylite Hieromonk Vladimir (Rusanen) and Deacon Nikita Astapov concelebrated with His Eminence. At the end of the service, parishioners participated in a children’s concert organized by students and teachers of the parish-school. The celebration ended with a common meal and the singing of carols.
