On 4-6 June 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia participated in Rome in the international theological conference “Nicaea and the Church of the Third Millennium. Catholic-Orthodox Unity”. He was one of the three keynote speakers at the opening plenary, together with Cardinal Kurt Koch and Archbishop Rowan Williams. His lecture was entitled: “Towards Unity in Faith: Nicaea and the Question of Restoring Ecclesial Unity Today”.
The conference, dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the first Ecumenical Council, was co-organised by the International Orthodox Theological Association and the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas – Angelicum in Rome, and gathered 250 scholars from all over the world.
