On the day of Pentecost, commemorative services were led in the Holy Metropolis of Pisidia for the repose of the soul of Metropolitan Sotirios Trambas (1929-2022) of blessed memory, on the occasion of the third anniversary of his death.
The late Metropolitan Sotirios has restored the ecclesial life of the Metropolis of Pisidia more than fifteen years ago, when he was appointed at its head in 2008, when he retired from the Holy Metropolis of Korea. Thanks to his missionary zeal and pastoral efforts, the church of the Holy Icon of Mother of God of Pisidia was built ten years ago in Mahmutlar-Alanya and later, three years ago, the church of the Holy Apostle Paul in Side-Manavgat. May he repose among the saints and his memory be eternal!
