At the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, His Excellency Mr. Hakan Fidan, His All-Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew flew to Antalya on 11 April 2025, to attend the official opening of the 4th Diplomacy Forum, which is attended by numerous heads of state and government, ministers, diplomats and other personalities from various countries of the world.
The Forum is being held at the NEST Conference Center in Belek, Antalya, under the theme “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World”. The opening remarks were made by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The proceedings will last for the entire three-day period from 11 to 13 April.
The Patriarch had attended the official opening session of the 3rd Forum last year at the same venue and had the opportunity to communicate with many high-ranking personalities among the participants.
