On 21-22 June 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Myra visited the Holy Metropolis of Pisidia. The purpose of his visit was to perform in Alanya, at the invitation of the local Metropolitan, the baptism of the third son of Economos of the Ecumenical Throne Konstantin Shevchenko, Panayiotis.
Besides the church of the Mother of God of Pisidia, Metropolitan Chrysostomos also visited the church of Saint Paul in Side and attended the Divine Liturgy on Sunday at the church of Saint Alypios in Antalya. Present on that day was also Hieromonk Vladimir Rusanen, the former dean of the parish, from Finland, who concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia and the local clergy. Following the liturgy, the parish offered a meal in honour of the distinguished guests at the Metropolis.
