From 14 to 16 May 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia visited Romania at the invitation of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of Romania to participate in the international theological symposium: “The First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea (325). The Orthodox Faith, the Basis of the Unity of the Church”, jointly organized by the Patriarchate of Romania and the Faculty of Orthodox Theology Patriarch Justinian, of the University of Bucharest.
Metropolitan Job spoke on the theme: “The Council of Nicaea and the common celebration of Easter.” The symposium gathered Orthodox and Roman Catholic theologians from various universities of Romania, France, Germany, Greece and Italy.
This symposium, organized on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the first ecumenical council (325), was part of the events organized on the occasion of the centenary of the Patriarchate of Romania (1925-2025).
