On 10 June 2026, the fourth anniversary of the repose in the Lord of Metropolitan Sotirios Trampas of blessed memory, who served the Holy Metropolis of Pisidia for 14 years before his falling asleep (2008-2022), was completed.
On that day, his successor, His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and a Trisagion for the repose of his soul in the Holy Church of Saint Alypios in Antalya. A Trisagion was also celebrated in all the parishes of the Metropolis.
In all the parishes of the Metropolis, a memorial service was also held on Sunday, 14 June. In Antalya, the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and a holy memorial service were presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Job, with the participation of the clergy and the faithful. His Eminence reminded that we must be grateful to God for the work of the late Metropolitan Sotirios, the new Founder of the Holy Metropolis of Pisidia and the Holy Church of Saint Alypios of Antalya, because without his efforts and his fearless courage, the liturgical life of the Holy Metropolis would not have been revived and the permanent pastoral presence would not exist in this region of Asia Minor. Afterwards, a reception was offered for everyone in the hall of the Metropolis.
