On May 29-31, 2024, the Holy Metropolis of Pisidia was visited by a group of 46 pilgrims from Greece. The pilgrimage was organized by the Society of Mediterranean Culture founded by the late Metropolitan of Pisidia Sotirios Trampa. 8 members of the Panhellenic Foreign Mission Group and members of other Asia Minor Associations and Societies also took part. The head of the pilgrims was the Very Reverend Archimandrite Theologos Chrysanthakopoulos, a collaborator of the late Metropolitan Sotirios Trampa and architect of many churches in different parts of the world as well as in Turkey. Other of his collaborators also participated – Fr. Angelos Vakalopoulos as well as the organizer Mrs. Anastasia Arpatzi. The pilgrims visited Iconium, Sille, Cappadocia, Alanya, Side and Antalya, and then left for Smyrna and Çeşme. On the day of Mid-Pentecost they took part in the liturgy at the church of the Mother of God of Pisidia in Alanya and the next day at the church of Saint Alypios in Antalya where a memorial service was held for the blessed Metropolitan Sotirios and where they met his successor, His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia.
