Amidst a packed crowd of faithful from the neighboring Holy Metropolis of Pisidia and the wider region, as well as pilgrims from Constantinople and abroad, a solemn Three-Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Holy Basilica of Saint Nicholas in Myra, on 6 December 2025, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Myra, and co-celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia and His Grace Bishop Amvrosios of Eudokiada.
The psalmody was performed in part by the choir of the church of Saint Alypios in Antalya.
In his speech, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Myron referred to the life of the venerated Saint Nicholas, highlighting his role in the first ecumenical council of Nicaea, the 1700th anniversary of which we are celebrating this year.
On this occasion, Metropolitan Chrysostomos distributed to all the faithful present commemorative icons depicting Saint Spyridon and Saint Nicholas at the first ecumenical council.
