The choir of the Orthodox Parish of Tampere (Finland) under the direction of Mr. Markus Hänninen visited Antalya on Sunday 3 November 2024 where they sang the Divine Liturgy in the church of Saint Alypios and performed a concert of liturgical hymns. The choir was led by their parish priest, Archpriest Aleksej Sjöberg who concelebrated the Divine Liturgy presided by His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia. After the concert, a reception prepared by the parishioners followed.
During their seven days visit to Turkey, the Tampere Orthodox Choir also visited Constantinople and sung the Divine Liturgy at the St. Paul’s Church in Side on Saturday 2 November 2024.
