On Saturday, April 20, 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia presided over the Divine Liturgy in the church of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens, dedicated to Saint Nicholas. After the liturgy, he met the members of the Association of Mediterranean Civilization and other associations of descendants of Asia Minor (Sparta, Alanya, Lycia) in Athens, to whom he presented the activities and projects of the Holy Metropolis of Pisidia. He was welcomed there by His Eminence Metropolitan Theodoritos of Laodicea, director of the office of the Representation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens.
On the evening of the same day, with the permission of His Beatitude Archbishop Jerome of Athens, he presided the Vespers in the church of Saint Georges in Neo Psychiko, and after, in the presence of the Mayor of the municipality, he met the members of the Association of Asia Minor “Saint Georges” of Neo Psychiko who had previously made a pilgrimage to the churches and sites of the Holy Metropolis of Pisidia.
The exchanges were fruitful: many new friendships were established and the realization of future projects was discussed.
